Dole sources, harvests, distributes and markets over 35 varieties of fresh vegetables, including iceberg lettuce, celery, cauliflower, red and green leaf lettuce, romaine lettuce, butter lettuce, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, green onions, asparagus, snow peas, squash, eggplants, tomatoes and artichokes. Dole produces and markets over 50 different packaged salad combinations, as well as four organic salad blends, and over 50 different commodity packs for foodservice end-users and distributors. In addition, Dole Fresh Vegetables sources, harvests, distributes and markets fresh strawberries, Straw Babies (late season strawberries), raspberries and blackberries. Dole Fresh Vegetables also has licensing agreements for a line of potatoes, carrots, and cut vegetables.
Dole Fresh Vegetables sources its products in North America, Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico. Dole Fresh Vegetables owns four farms in California totaling approximately 1,450 acres.
Dole Dole Fresh Vegetables operates four fresh vegetable processing facilities in the United States: Soledad, California; Yuma, Arizona, Springflied, Ohio, North Carolina and Bessemer City.
